ashes in the sea (04/2009) 
On February 28 2009, my stepfather Terry Griffiths died of a heart attack at his home in Napsles, Florida. Joni and I went to Naples to have him cremated, as per his wishes, and we returned in April with our girls to scatter his ashes in the Gulf of Mexico, as he had wanted. and his boat to take us out for Terry


In his will, Terry had asked that his friend 
Mike O'Donnell do the honors


Terry married my mother when I was 13.
We used to play tennis together.


He and my mother split up after 13 years, 
but he and I still stayed close. My girls loved him.


He taught me how to shave. 
He taught me how to tie a necktie.
He taught me how to pour champagne.
