| the
basics
My name is Kenton Kilgore. I was
born in Heidelberg, Germany, in 1966 but have been an American citizen
all my life. I have lived in Chicago, Illinois; Phoenix, Arizona; and (since
1980) in the Baltimore-Washington DC area. I am married (since 1988) and
have two kids.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree
in English Literature from the University of Maryland, and a Master's Degree
in English Literature from Washington College. I work for the federal government
as a Business Manager. In the past, I’ve been a technical writer/editor,
a college instructor, and a banker.

This is my wife, Joni. She's a Pittsburgh
girl I met and started dating in my second year of college. She says she
married me for "entertainment value." I'm okay with that.

These are our kids, Elizabeth (who's
12 1/2) and Alexandra (7). Like most parents, we believe our children are
proto-primates, and thus we force them to live outdoors on a series of
suspended cargo nets. Don't you?

These are some of the more-or-less
worthless animals that infest our home. Oh, sure, they look cute,
but they're all dangerous sociopaths. Especially Cookie, the black Lab
mix.
