You can't have Halloween without
pumpkins, and to get ours, we visited
a local farm, which also had plenty
of friendly critters: always a favorite

After we picked out our stuff and
got done feeding and petting the livestock,
we got down to work, with Ally-Jane
making a ghost out of a gourd

All-Jane's completed ghost and spider
pumpkin. Beth's has a spider crawling out of the top of
its head, and then there's my really
deranged "Raven-Eating
Steeler
Cyclops" jack-o-lantern

No, that's not a real bird. This
year, Ally-Jane dressed as a
leprechaun, and Joni and I were
"prisoners of luv"

Beth went as a gypsy, with her friend
Heather and her cousin Tasha.
Ally-Jane hurt her hip, so she was
on wheels this Halloween

We decorated the chair to go with
Ally-Jane's outfit, and a week after Halloween,
she was fine. As for Beth, yes,
I do own a firearm. With hollow-point
ammo

parade; the neighborhood kids at a party before trick-or-treating

Ally and friends, including Mario
and Luigi, a.k.a the Becker
Boys
(Dylan and Nathan) who live across
the street from us

Me with the Becker Boys' dad, Andy,
dressed as a Spartan
Cheerleader;
Joni, my "ball and chain" and Cellmate
for Life

Our friends the Mottos came as Mr.
and Mrs. Incredible (and Jack-Jack);
Another neighbor as the awesome
Captain
Underpants. Tra-la-la!
On Halloween night, we were
visited by Joni's nephew Dmitri
and
niece Maggie. Too cute!
