The first part of the Idlewild is
Story Book Forest,
where the girls met Raggedy
Ann...and two imposters

Ally was very happy to see Little
Miss Muffet's spider, and to find
The Old Woman Who Lived In a Shoe

Beth prepared to make her rightful
claim to the throne; hanging out with their aunt, Alice; at a teapot
house

Having fun with blocks and a "flying
carpet"

Hmmm....it seems this Alice
is too big to fit through the keyhole.
So is this Beth. But Ally--Ally
is just the right size

We left the Story Book Forest for
some swingin' and slidin'

"Floating" balls and those "roungy-roungy"
rides that make me barf....

The day got hot, so we spent some
time at the waterpark, where I revealed acres and acres
of gleaming white belly flab to
horrified children. And yes, Joni and I went down those slides

After I was ejected from the waterpark
(and told not to return until I got a shirt or a tan),
we went back on some rides. The
girls loved that green "caterpillar." More about that later.

The "Mr.
Rogers' Neighborhood" ride was very cool.
I never appreciated that show until
I became an adult

Posing with Joni's mom, who bought
the girls some Idlewild t-shirts to celebrate the occasion

I lost count of how many times the
girls rode The
Caterpillar. It's a mini roller coaster
with a canopy that comes over you
while you're riding it. Cool, huh?

Whenever we go to Pittsburgh, we
stay at the Conley Inn and enjoy
its waterslides
More gleaming white belly flab!
On that note, perhaps it's time
to go...
