Like Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes, I would prefer that there be snow on the ground from October to May. Alas, the place where I live often fails miserably in the snowfall department. Sometimes, though, we do get some significant snow, as you can see in these photos. Click on each thumbnail to see a larger version.
